Do you ever feel sometimes like you are 'chasing the wind'? Another year begins and you decide to make a few resolutions but nothing significant ever changes. This month at Oasis Church we begin a teaching series called Thrill Ride which asks some of life's most challenging questions. Where does meaning in life come from? How do I live in uncertain times? Why is there so much evil in the world? Is God really in control? These questions and many others were raised by the wisest man who ever lived, Solomon, in his book called Ecclesiastes and though it is centuries old his treatise is as relevant today as it was then including his premise that 'To everything there is a time and a purpose'. For the next few weeks we will examine this book and the different means and lifestyles that people explore in the thrill ride called life. Everyone wants to ride; the real question is "What’s Your Ticket?"
